Last weekend snowmobiling I came face to face with fear.
We’d been snowmobiling up and down mountains and all kinds of terrain.
But when it came to this hill, I paused.
It was beyond my expanding comfort zone.
I breathed deeply, trying to will myself up the hill.
Just then my son Caleb circled back for me. He pointed up the hill and nodded in a “Let’s go!” kind of way.
I shook my head no, and again got the point and nod from Caleb.
Note: I didn’t need someone to do it for me or someone to teach me how – I had to dig deeper and find another level of courage to get it done,
I stood up and fully committed.
I hammered down the throttle and ran right up the hill until… about ten feet before the top, my snowmobile almost stopped.
I clung to the side of the hill precariously, slowly inching my way to the top.
It was scary. But I was fine. I’d made it to the top and it was spectacular!
My fear about the steep hill is like taking your soul work to the next level.
It looks scary.
It’s hard to talk yourself into doing it.
You need a mentor to give you the nod and some confidence.
You have to fully commit.
It’s still scary as you’re doing it.
It gets harder right before you’re there.
AND if you keep the faith and trust for those last few feet, you’re able to embody that next level of success, impact and income you know you can.

It’s o.k. to be scared.
